Sara R. Fogan earned a Master's degree in psychology from Goldsmiths College, University of London, for her research on the social adjustment to partnership bereavement. In June 2005, she graduated with honors from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Tarzana, California, the first nationally accredited hypnotherapy institution in the United States.

Since graduating from HMI, Sara has set up a full-time hypnotherapy practice in Valencia, California. She has successfully helped clients stop smoking, overcome fear of flying, prepare for state certification examinations, and more. She specializes in helping equestrians to improve their communication and enrich their relationship with their horses. She uses hypnosis, therapeutic guided imagery, neurolinguistic programming, and Reiki techniques to help her clients achieve training and competition goals. Sara is an avid equestrian and trains in dressage.
